On Call Banquet Server

Position Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests throughout dinners and special events.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.

• Relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff.

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.

• Closely monitor guests and anticipate their needs.

• Be aware of guest’s allergies and relay them to the appropriate person.

• Ensure menu knowledge.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Key Skills Sets & Experiences): 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to balance trays with multiple plates of food and drinks.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Previous server experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the restaurant area.

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

• The employee is occasionally exposed to hazards including but not limited to; hot plates and other dinnerware and frequent contact with sharp objects. 

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background and drug test.
